Karen has asked us for a one layer card featuring a silhouette stamp. I have so many of these, nearly all floral but this time I have used a stamp I've had for ages but never used (Darnell - another NBUS!).
I've used my favourite distress pads again, mustard seed, spiced marmalade (I wonder how that would taste?) and barn door. The stamp is an old Art Impressions one.
No greeting, not sure what to say really.
Enjoy your weekend.
Gorgeous colours for the background Pat, just sets that black image off perfectly :0) I know what you mean, sometimes it's best to wait for the occasion to arise before adding a sentiment!!

P.S did you get my email reply about the candy dots??? Not sure if I could reply to your comment but in case you didn't... They are about 4mm across them so quite small :0)
Thanks Jenny. Looks like I need both then!
DeleteI can't believe that remained a NBUS stamp, Pat! It is such a wonderful sketchy image and the background you have given it really makes it pop off the card! I agree, no sediment. It's the perfect note card front where you could use it for any occasion on the inside. People would pay good money for a set of these!! Have a great weekend! xxoo Darnell
ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing background ... sets off the image so perfectly! Spiced marmalade sounds yummy! Anita :)
ReplyDeletejust stunning Pat.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along with the OLW this week.
Beautiful card and love the colors. I agree on this card in particular no sentiment is needed.
