Drink!

Well hello there.  I hope you have had a fantabulous Christmas and are looking forward to a creative 2013.  The lovely and hard working ladies over at Less is More have asked us to make a card with a drink theme.  A little surprisingly I didn't go with an alcoholic theme but with a thank you card for my amazing sister in law who hosted such a lovely Christmas Day.



She recently got a new fancy coffee machine so can treat herself to a latte whenever the mood takes her.

I took the suggestion from a few others and layered up the die cut letters for some depth with four strips of brown card for the ombre effect.  Used my new mini sewing machine for the border.

Have a celebratory 31 December and see you all next year!

    oo I saw your card showcased last week and it is a great design, clever work with the ombre effect and the stitched border just finishes it off perfectly :0)
