Happy Anniversary

It's lovely to be able to share the love and today is Darnell's turn.  I'd like to wish her and Kevin a very happy anniversary.

I used the lovely Flitterglu to add the ombre foiling to this Art Impressions heart.

A close up shot to show the shine from the foil.

So, congratulations Darnell and Kevin.  May you have many more years of happiness and laughter.

  3. OK, I've never heard of Flitterglu or Ombre foiling, but it is absolutely STUNNING! Thanks so much for joining in with the Anniversary fun!

  4. Oh, blast, I wrote a whole letter and then lost it.

I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner, Pat. I took some time off to actually celebrate with Mister, and I'm slowly making my way through the fantastic links.

Thank you SO much for doing this special dedicated post to me and Mister for our anniversary! Thank you for the sweet wishes and the FANTASTIC card! I'm with Ardyth and don't know about those things, but whatever they are, you've worked magic with them! Your card will be a favorite in the special Pinterest board I've set up for all our lovely cards.

Thank you for linking at Ardyth's and joining in the fun! I'd love it if you could go back and link again (Ardyth has made that possible) with a wedding photo or other early days photo. Some ladies are taking pictures of their photos if they have no scanner or can't get them out of the album. It's been so fun to see them all in the links on her post.

Also, could you please let me know the month and day of your anniversary, so I can make sure I return the flavor and leave you anniversary wishes in your comments on YOUR special day. Please.

Thank you, again! I'm so touched! Darnell

  5. This is such a beautiful card. I was wondering if you could tell what brand of foil that you used to achieve this effect.
    Thanks

    1. Hi Brenda. I'm sorry, I don't remember. I bought it years ago as a mixed pack. They were quite small strips. However I bought some similar recently at a bead fair from Lisa Pavelka and I think she has a website.
