Happy 2nd Birthday Less Is More

First of all, I'd like to wish the girls at Less is More a very happy second birthday.  Ladies, you do a fabulous job week after week and you have helped me stretch my creativity.

I love this colourway, it's odd because if you had said brown and beige, I would not be inspired at all.

So here are my two cards.  Firstly a layered daisy die from Simon Says Stamp and some partial embossing.

And this one is using a new technique for me.  Dust some chalk over the card, then stamp with Versamark which lifts the chalk and then, my personal addition, emboss with clear powder.

I'm really liking this technique, I can see lots of possibilities for Christmas.

I'm going to have a look at some of the other lovely entries so far.

Have a good week.

  1. I love both of these and what a fab technique with the chalk, definitely going to give that a go :)

  2. Visiting from LIM - Both of these cards are fabulous! I am loving the chalk technique - simple enough that I should be able to manage it. Can I ask , did you 'fix' the chalk and if so with what? Best wishes, :0) Mo

    1. Hi Mo, thanks for your kind words. I just use a quick spritz of cheap hairspray. Pat :-)

  3. These are lovely, the designs looks great in kraft!
